A register that depreciates itself.

Every asset held in a register with its cost, method and useful life, depreciation runs that post journal entries automatically, and disposals that record the gain or loss.

  • Straight-line or declining balance
  • Automatic depreciation journals
  • Disposals with gain or loss

What fixed assets covers.

A charge that reduces as the asset ages, chosen per asset.

  • Automatic depreciation journals

Each depreciation run posts its journal entries to the ledger.

  • Depreciation log

How are disposals handled?

Assets leave the register through the asset record rather than by deleting history, and the gain or loss on disposal is recorded.

Can we bring an existing register in?

Yes. The register is set up during onboarding from your existing asset list, with the accumulated depreciation carried in as the starting point for the first run.
