Doing these in order avoids the two problems that cause most rework: postings made before the chart of accounts is settled, and opening balances entered twice.
Set up the company details, the financial year and the accounting period you are going live in.
Agree the account structure and groups first — the reports inherit their shape from it.
Bring balances in against the period you are going live in, and reconcile them to your previous system.
Create the users, grant each one the module permissions they need, and require two-factor sign-in.
Import bank data, then raise invoices and enter purchases in the live system from that point forward.
