Approval status
Not legally reviewed — owner and legal sign-off required before production.
This page has not been legally reviewed or approved.
It is a plain-language account of what this website and the accounting application actually do with information, written so it can be checked against the build. It is not a jurisdiction-specific privacy notice, no lawyer has reviewed it, and it must not be presented as an approved privacy policy. A professionally reviewed notice has to replace it before this site is used commercially.
Decision required before cutover: approve this summary as it stands, or supply professionally reviewed replacement text. Until that decision is recorded in the certification document, this page is described nowhere as legally approved. It is published on the staging build only — nothing has been deployed.
Policy
Privacy, in plain language.
This website
This website is a set of static pages. It does not ask you to register, it has no contact form endpoint, and it does not load analytics, advertising, social or heat-mapping scripts. No cookie is set by this website, which is why you will not see a cookie banner on it.
The search and help filters run inside your browser, so what you type there is not sent anywhere by us. The only data a web server normally receives is the ordinary request information needed to deliver a page.
- No accounts on the website
- No analytics or tracking scripts
- No cookies set by the website itself
- No third-party embeds
Emails you send us
When you write to an address on the contact page, we receive your message and whatever you chose to include. We use it only to answer you and to keep track of the enquiry, and we do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.
If you want a copy of what we hold about your enquiry, or want it removed, ask at the same address and we will deal with it.
The accounting application
Financial data — ledgers, invoices, payroll, inventory and everything else you enter — lives in the database of your own deployment. It is not pooled with other organizations’ data and is not used by us for marketing, profiling or model training.
The application uses one essential cookie to keep an authenticated session open after you sign in, and it records authentication events and audit entries for security and accountability, so that access and changes can be reviewed.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share your financial data with third parties for their own purposes. Where hosting or email delivery are provided by a third party, that forms part of your deployment arrangement and is described to you before you commit.
Where the law requires disclosure, we will tell you unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
Status of this page
This is a plain-language summary of how the website and application handle information today, kept in step with what the product actually does. It is not a substitute for a professionally reviewed privacy notice, and a jurisdiction-specific notice will replace it before commercial publication.
If anything here is inaccurate for your situation, tell us and we will correct the page rather than leave a false statement standing.
