Pricing & licensing

Licensed for how you actually work.

Fox Pro Accounting is licensed for individuals, organizations and businesses rather than sold as a stack of add-ons. Licences are issued by quotation and activated against your deployment with a licence key.

  • Individual, Organization and Business licensing
  • Licence-key activation
  • Onboarding by conversation, not checkout

Options

Three ways the licence is scoped.

The differences below are capability and control differences, not price tiers. What you pay depends on the scope we agree with you, and no price is published while the commercial model is being finalised.

Individual

For personal accounting and independent work.

  • Core accounting tools
  • Reports and ledgers
  • Password-protected access

Coverage

What the workspace covers.

Every licence covers the same application. What changes between the three options is how many people use it, how their access is controlled, and which modules your work needs.

The table states capability scope as agreed at licensing time rather than a fixed product difference. Nothing here is a price, a discount or a service-level commitment.

How it works

Four steps from conversation to live books.

Licensing is a short process with a person on the other end of it, because the scope depends on your books.

  1. Tell us what you need

A short conversation about the work you do, the modules you need and who has to use the system.

  2. Agree the licence scope

We confirm the licence that fits and the commercial terms in writing — prices are quoted, not published on this page.

  3. Deploy and activate

The application is deployed against your database, and the licence key activates that installation.

  4. Onboard the data

Chart of accounts, opening balances and bank data are brought in, then the first period runs in the live system.

Licensing

Licensing and deployment, in plain terms.

What a licence is

A licence is a key issued to you and activated against a specific installation of Fox Pro Accounting. The installation is bound to the deployment it was activated on, so a licence cannot be quietly copied onto a second, unrelated system.

The application records the licence, its activation and its expiry, so the state of your own licence is visible from inside the product rather than only by asking.

  • Issued by quotation and confirmed in writing
  • Activated against your own deployment
  • State visible from inside the application

What it covers

One licence covers the application for the audience it was scoped to. Additional users, additional companies and additional modules are part of the scope we agree, not a hidden meter.

No commercial price or service level is published on this website. Those are commercial terms and they are confirmed with you directly. The student and nonprofit programmes are described below.

When a licence expires

Licence state is tracked with the activation and expiry dates, so renewal is a conversation before the date rather than a surprise afterwards.

Because the application runs on your deployment, the licence does not hold your data: the data stays in your deployment under your control.

For commercial licences, nothing on this page is an offer: pricing and service levels are confirmed in writing for your specific scope.

Programmes, separate from commercial licensing.

Two offers sit alongside the commercial licences above. Each has its own application by email and is granted only after verification.

3 months free access

ACCA and CA students

Three months of free access for practical accounting experience, starting on the date approved access is activated. One period per student.

Special subscription discounts

NGOs and charitable trusts

Special subscription discounts after organisational verification. No percentage is published; an approved offer is confirmed in writing.

Questions

Licensing questions.

Why are there no prices on this page?

Because the commercial model is still being finalised, and publishing a number that later changes is worse than not publishing one. Ask for a quote and you get a written scope and price for your case.

Is there a free trial?

The customer application has its own account flow and trials are a commercial decision rather than a marketing promise. Ask us and we will tell you exactly what is currently available. Separately, verified ACCA and CA students can receive three months of free access through the student programme.

Can we host it ourselves?

The application is deployed against its own database, and licensing is tied to that deployment. Whether that deployment is hosted by us or by you is part of the onboarding conversation.

What happens to our data if we stop?

Your data lives in your deployment. Because the deployment is yours, the data stays yours; the practical arrangements for export, retention and decommissioning are confirmed in writing before you commit.

Licensing is scoped for individuals, organizations and businesses. No commercial price, rating or checkout claim is made on this page, and no service level is promised because none is defined yet. Student access and nonprofit discounts are granted only after verification.

Next step

See it against your own books.

Tell us how your books are kept today and we will show the modules that match — accounting, invoicing, banking, inventory, payroll, fixed assets and reporting.
